Happy Birthday to Me

I have been unmotivated to be on the computer recently. I haven't been checking my email, answering the phone or basically doing much outside of little world. I am changing that today because I can and because I have a new camera that takes lovely pictures and I must share them.

Enjoy
Ander wanted to take a picture of himself with me...
Chloe in her new hat when we were at the park playing Frisbee Golf...so much fun!

Disappointment and Hope

David had an interview on monday and he has been so excited all week, until today when they chose the other guy.  I just wish I could cheer him up. I am giving him part of his v-day gift early. I ordered mana from Thinkgeek for him and put it on his desk.

In other news, I cut my hair off. I had been growing it out but it's just too much. I work out and have to wash all that hair every day and I was done. So I went to Kathrine who is the best ever and she did a wonderful job and I am so happy with it.
Turns out that she also goes to my gym.

Also, Chloe is starting to learn how to roll over from her tummy to back.
That's about it for now. I have other responsibilities calling to me...literally.

Ahhh, accomplishments

I feel so good about the fact that tomorrow afternoon I have an eye appointment, and it two weeks I have a dentist appointment for myself and my boys. I have needed to do this for a long time and now I finally did it. WhooHoo!

It's the little things. Now i have to make dinner and clean the kitchen. Oh well, one step at a time.

Sometimes you just need mom

I am not too proud to admit when I need help, and I am ok with that. If it not for the help that I receive there is no way I would be as good of a mom as my kids need me to be.
I would also like to take this moment to say that taking care of kids is not hard, it is taxing! It takes a little bit here, a little bit there and before you know it you are completely depleted and wishing for "a slice of lemon wrapped around a gold brick."
*1000 points if you get that*

So tonight my darling daughter has had trouble sleeping. She has been sleeping through the night but tonight she kept waking up every hour very cranky, she didn't want food, had a clean diaper on and freaked out if I held her inclined at all. Actually, she didn't want the lights off even in the living room.
Finally I called my mom and dad, being an our later there, *I hope it's only and hour later* my parents were sleeping but my brother woke up my dad to help me. He advised me that it was probably  her teeth and being with me distracted her from the discomfort. She is my third baby and I had to wake up my dad to hear that my daughter just needs me to distract her. Anyway, teething goup and about 20 min later she went to bed and has stayed asleep this time.
I find it endearing that you never outgrow your need for your parents. I am so thankful for mine.
Love you Dad!!!

New Day

It isn't so much that I don't have anything to say, or that I'm too busy, it's just that I have very little inclination to blog with one hand. During the day I have a five year old that is very adept at getting me to play games with him...he is a great teacher, and my 6month old that doesn't have to be held all the time, but how do you say no to such beautiful blue eyes.

We had a party this weekend, our friends came and brought the fun with them. It was great.
My daughter and I have colds, but besides that we are doing pretty good as a family of five.
Some highlights from my absence online are as follows:

Chloƫ has started eating real food, but other than the biscuits she isn't a fan of anything we aren't eating. Go fig.

I took down all the Christmas stuff last week.

I took Beau to spend his birthday money-He bought a Beta
(Now Ander asks me every morning to take him to buy one too, he spent his birthday money on toys)

My Mom is planning a trip to visit us the end of March....I may be able to fly out their first if I can talk my grandparents into driving the boys.

Beau started playing tennis....he is so cute!

David is once again on a project he enjoys at work.

I can't think of anything else that is new, Ghost town was a funny movie I watched recently. Yup, that's it. Hopefully it won't take me another year to write again.
